Want to write for comics? How does that work?
In Finland comic book artist have traditionally written and drawn their own work. But we do have talents who focus purely on writing for comics, and two of them, Vesa Vitikainen (Kersantti Napalm, Lauri Törni, Simo Häyhä) and Hannu Kesola (Iron Knights, Yö huutaa armoa) will talk about following:
- What does a comic book script look like?
- How to find an artist and a publisher?
- What’s it like to write for comics in Finland?
We also discuss the similarities and differences between writing for comics and film. The seminar is arranged by Screenwriters Guild of Finland together with Aalto University Department of Film, Television and Scenography. Moderated by Juhana Lumme.
